Animal welfare is paramount for the Turner family. The cattle and sheep graze on grass, augmented by barley, hay and grass silage. Nearly all the additional foodstuffs are raised on the Coughton farm. In the winter, the cattle move indoors to sheds, bedding on straw from the farm. The sheep remain in the fields all year round - this gives a delicious flavour to the meat.

The Turner family never use growth promoters to bulk up their animals, and antibiotics are only used when absolutely necessary.

Limousin Beef


Our beef is available throughout the year, but advanced orders are helpful where possible, due the longer maturing process which ensures good flavour and tenderness.

We supply our beef cut as you require, be joints or steaks. The braising or casserole beef and mince are well trimmed and should you require specific cuts to be used please let us know.

Spring Lamb

We only sell our own lamb and therefore it is seasonal and available from approximately May to November. It is grass-reared, giving excellent flavour.

Again should you require a crown or rack of lamb please order accordingly.
