Ellenden Farm Fishery Regulations

MATCHES CAN BE BOOKED BY PRIOR APPOINTMENT ONLY
  1. Anglers must purchase their day ticket from the farm shop on site BEFORE commencing fishing unless a prior arrangement has been made with the proprietor.
  2. All anglers over the age of 12 must be in possession of a current Environment Agency Rod Licence. Anglers may be asked to show their licence to the bailiff at any time whilst fishing.
  3. All juniors aged 14 or under must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
  4. Fishing from 8am to the time stated in the farm shop on the day fishing takes place. All anglers must be off the premises by the time stated.
  5. NO keep nets allowed.
  6. BARBLESS hooks ONLY, maximum size 12.
    NO BRAID TO BE USED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

    Hook checks will be carried out throughout the day. Any angler using barbed hooks will be stopped from fishing immediately and no refund will be given.
  7. All fish to be returned alive to the water. No fish to be removed from the water under any circumstances.
  8. Unhooking mats to be used for large fish.
  9. Rods must never be left unattended.
  10. Beware of overhead power lines.
  11. Parking at owners' risk.
  12. Speed limit on site is 5mph. Failure to adhere to this limit will result in an immediate cancellation of the day ticket and no refund will be given.
  13. No radios to be brought onto site. Car radios must not be left playing whilst fishing. Please show respect for other anglers regarding noise etc.
  14. All litter to be removed from site and disposed of by the angler when fishing is finished. No tins allowed at the pool, ie corn, luncheon meat, etc.
  15. The baits listed are the only baits which can be used on this pool:
    • Maggots
    • Caster
    • Worm
    • Luncheon meat
    • Sweetcorn
    • Bread
    • ALL OTHER BAITS ARE BANNED (including ground bait)
Any breach of the rules will be dealt with in an appropriate manner
